How often do new items get added to the sales floor?
We add about 100 new items to the floor every day.
How do I consign? How many items can I bring in at a time? Do i need an appointment?
You can bring in up to 20 (no seriously, no more than 20) of your best seasonal items any day of the week (no appointment needed!) and we’ll be happy to go through them while you shop around the store. We’ll give back the items we are unable to accept.
Which question is our favorite?
This one. Question #3. This is definitely our favorite.
What items do you accept on consignment?
Worthy Girl accepts (in season) very gently used or new with tags women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, and accessories.
What don’t you take?
We cannot accept items with stains, holes, broken zippers, or pilling, nor items that appear to have committed a fashion faux pas.

Are there brands you don’t take?
We have historically accepted fewer items from brands such as J Jill, Chico’s, Talbots, Brooks Brothers, Dress Barn, Cache, Coldwater Creek, LL Bean, Appleseeds, Liz Claiborne, Ann Klein, Eileen Fisher, Sonoma, Croft & Barrow, Eddie Bauer.
I bought a designer bag on the streets of NY - you can sell it right?
No. We do not accept any knock-off designer items. If you have an authentic designer item that you’d like to consign, please bring along any original tags, protective bags and receipts if you have them available. You will be required to fill out an Authenticity Confirmation for any designer items left for consignment.
How old can the clothes be?
Although items can be older than last season, please keep in mind current styles and trends when deciding what to bring in for consignment.
Do the items need to be steamed/ironed and on hangers?
No, you do not need to iron or steam your items before you bring them in. Please bring your items neatly folded into bags/bins rather than on hangers, as it makes our check in process much easier.
Do I have a better chance of consigning items if I bring them in in shopping bags from stores with fancy names?
No, but it was a smart idea nonetheless.
When do you take Sumer clothes…how about Spring Fall and Winter?
How do you determine what is acceptable for sale?
All items will be reviewed before being accepted on consignment. After ensuring they’re clean, odorless, pet and human hair free, we’ll assess their overall appeal and sell-ability. Worthy Girl reserves the right to refuse any item. We cannot agree to accepting anything on consignment over the phone. All items must be viewed in person by a Worthy Girl Intake Specialist.
Please check over your items carefully before bringing them in for consignment, as any item found to be damaged after initial intake will be discounted or donated/recycled for textiles without further notice, as stated in our contract.
How do you determine the price of an item?
Worthy Girl will determine pricing for items based on design, quality and retail value, and reserves the right to adjust the price of any merchandise. Items may be marked down at the discretion of Worthy Girl for sales, events, etc.
Will I be required to sign a contract?
I didn’t get an inventory email…why not?
You’ll typically receive an email within 1 week after your drop off. The email will come from firstname.lastname@example.org, so before contacting us, please check your email folder and SPAM folder to make sure you didn’t miss our message. If you are unable to locate, please call 978-969-2761 or email us (email@example.com) so we can confirm that we have the correct email address and resend your inventory.
If some items don’t sell within my 60-day consignment period, can I get them back?
Yes, you have 7 days from the end of your 60-day consignment period to reclaim your items. Once the 7 days have passed, you are no longer eligible to reclaim any merchandise. If you elect to reclaim any of your unsold items, please refer to your inventory email that you received a few days after your drop off.

If you wish to reclaim any of your unsold items, please email (email@example.com) or call us (978-969-2761) on the “Expires On” date (found on the attached inventory list). We ask for 48 hours notice to gather your items. Items must be picked up within 1 week of the “Expires On” date, no exceptions!
You are eligible to use your earnings as store credit (with a 10% discount on full priced purchases) as soon as an item sells or you can pick up a check following the end of your 60 day consignment period.
How do I know if I have any unsold items?
Simply cross-reference the attached inventory list with the sold items listed in your consignor account. You can log in to your consignor account by going to our website (www.worthygirlshop.com), clicking on CONSIGNOR LOGIN and entering your EMAIL ADDRESS as both the USERNAME and PASSWORD.

Do I have to pick up my unsold items?
Of course not! Just know that they become store property and we have the right to recycle them or resell them as we see fit.
How long is the consignment period & how much will I get paid when something sells?
The consignment period is 60 days. If a consigned item sells within 60 days, the consignor receives 40% of the selling price in the form of store credit or a check.
Can I check my consignor account online?
Yes, you can see what has sold and how much money is your account by logging into our consignor login by:
1. Clicking here and entering your EMAIL ADDRESS as both the USER NAME and PASSWORD
2. Visiting www.worthygirlshop.com and clicking on “Consignor Login” located in the top bar menu at the top of the page. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS as both the USER NAME and PASSWORD.
How do I get paid?
Consignors may use their earnings as store credit and will receive a 10% discount (on full-priced items) when they do so. Alternatively, they can wait until the end of the 60-day consignment period to pick up a check at the shop. Checks will not be issued automatically. Consignors may come in to request/pick up their check or call or email to have it mailed. There will be a $2 processing and mailing fee deducted from your account if you request that the check be mailed.
How do I know if I have any unsold items?
Simply cross-reference your inventory list from your original inventory email with the sold items listed in your consignor account. You can log in to your consignor account by going to our website (www.worthygirlshop.com), clicking on CONSIGNOR LOGIN and entering your EMAIL ADDRESS as both the USERNAME and PASSWORD.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Debit Cards and Credit Cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa). Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks or those tickets you win at Skee Ball. Of course, if you’ve consigned with us and have accrued store credit, you can use that as well. You’ll even get a 10% discount on any full priced items you purchase with your credit.
What is your return policy?
All items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Where can I park?
There are kiosk metered parking spots directly in front of the shop, which cost 0.75/hour, as well as a 45-space kiosk metered lot right over on Washington Street (it’s very close, viewable from Worthy Girl’s windows). Enforcement hours are 8am – 8pm Monday through Saturday. Sundays are FREE. Payment can be made by GoParkIt app, or coin/credit/debit card via new on-street kiosks. Parking for 20 minutes or fewer at any on-street parking location will be free, just park and go!
