Store Policies
Price Determination Worthy Girl will determine pricing for items based on design, quality, and retail value. We reserve the right to adjust the price of any merchandise. Items may be marked down at the discretion of Worthy Girl for sales, events, etc. The consignor receives 35% of the selling price in the form of store credit or a check.
Acceptable Condition We cannot accept items with stains, holes, broken zippers, or pilling. Items should be clean, odorless, and free of any lint, pet hair, and human hair. You do not need to iron or steam your items before you bring them in. Please bring your items in bags/bins rather than on hangers, as it makes our check in process much easier.
After ensuring items meet these expectations, we’ll assess their overall appeal and sell-ability. Worthy Girl reserves the right to refuse any item. We cannot agree to accepting anything on consignment over the phone. All items must be viewed in person by a Worthy Girl Intake Specialist.
Please check over your items carefully before bringing them in for consignment, as any item found to be damaged after initial intake will be discounted or donated/recycled for textiles without further notice, as stated in our contract.
Authentication Confirmation We do not accept any knock-off designer items. Please do not bring any designer fakes to our store. If you have an authentic designer item that you’d like to consign, please bring along any original tags, protective bags, and receipts if you have them available. If the item is found to be authentic, you will be required to fill out an Authenticity Confirmation for any designer items left for consignment.
60 Day PolicyThe consignment period is 60 days from the day your items are entered into our system. You have seven (7) days to reclaim any items that did not sell within the 60 day period. After 7 days, you are no longer eligible to reclaim any merchandise that did not sell. Any unclaimed items become store property and we have the right to recycle them or resell them as we see fit after this period.
If you elect to reclaim any of your unsold items, please refer to your inventory email from hello@worthygirlshop.com that you received a few days after your drop off.
If you wish to reclaim any of your unsold items, please email us (hello@worthygirlshop.com) or call us (978-969-2761) on the “Expires On” date (found on the attached inventory list). We ask for 48 hours notice to gather your items. Items must be picked up within 1 week of the “Expires On” date, no exceptions!
Payment DetailsConsignors may use their earnings as store credit and will receive a 10% discount (on full-priced items) when they do so. Alternatively, they can wait until the end of the 60-day consignment period to pick up a check at the shop. Checks will not be issued automatically. Consignors may come in to request/pick up their check or call or email to have it mailed. There will be a $2 processing and mailing fee deducted from your account if you request that the check be mailed. All earnings over 365 days old will be converted to store credit. Store credit never expires.
